The Association of Pharmacy Technicians UK (APTUK) has launched a new national survey intended to guide a review of the skills required as an early-years pharmacy technician. All pharmacy professionals are invited to take part.
The survey forms part of the second stage of the Foundation Pharmacy Technician Role Analysis. This review, which is being undertaken by APTUK and Health Education England (HEE), will support the development of an attributes framework and define the professional capabilities to be developed during pharmacy technician training ahead of new qualifications due to launch in February 2020, according to APTUK.
Pharmacy professionals are asked to register their interest by January 23 2020 to take part in the online survey. It will run from January 24 to February 9 2020 and should take approximately 20 minutes to complete. Those who complete the survey will be entered in a draw to win a £100 Amazon gift voucher from Work Psychology Group (WPG).
APTUK recommend contacting Jessica Pickard from the Work Psychology Group with any queries about the role analysis or the survey.
