Well steps up online

Well Pharmacy has launched a campaign to promote its prescriptions service. The service, which is available online or via iOS app, offers free delivery of NHS prescriptions. Since its launch in 2018 over 50,000 consumers have signed up to use the service which, Well says, equates to around 3,500 items dispensed on a weekly basis across the UK.

The promotion includes adverts on 150 London buses, 700 London underground escalator posters and a 30-second radio advert. The campaign will also run in store across the 780 pharmacies.

“The online service is all about giving our customers choice – it works alongside our bricks and mortar which are at the heart of our communities,“ says John Nuttall, chief executive officer for Well.

“While our customers still need to visit our pharmacies for a wealth of services or expert advice – the online prescriptions service can take the hassle out of prescriptions, particularly repeats. It’s just one less thing to have on your to do list.”
