Over 95% of items dispensed via EPS

Prescriptions issued via the electronic prescription service (EPS) account for more than 95 per cent of total items dispensed by community pharmacies in England, according to the latest official figures.

The NHS Business Services Authority confirmed during a Community Pharmacy IT Group meeting on Monday that over 95 per cent of GP practices are currently using phase 4 EPS.
