Pharmacy Complete launches 'PCN-ready' course

Training provider and consultancy Pharmacy Complete has launched a new leadership development programme to help prepare pharmacies to work with primary care networks, focusing on aspects such as the need to collaborate with other local pharmacies.

Effective communication and engagement builds on the consultancy firm's HLP leadership course, Developing and motivating your team with the aim of supporting community pharmacy in working with other pharmacies, other healthcare professionals and PCNs.

The company said: "Working effectively together and with others requires knowledge, new skills and a different approach to ensure that community pharmacy is integrated into the local healthcare system to access future funding."

The programme covers areas such as communicating with stakeholders, including influencing commissioners and other health and care providers

The course is available as a full-day workshop, self-directed learning or a blend of both.
