Alverine and irbesartan among October concessions

The Department of Health and Social Care has today (Monday October 21) announced the first wave of drug price concessions for October.

The list, published by PSNC, features nine medicines:

Alverine 60mg capsules 100 £9.25
Cyclizine 50mg/1ml solution for injection ampoules 5 £12.61
Hydroxyzine 25mg tablets 28 £0.85
Indapamide 2.5mg tablets 28 £2.48
Irbesartan 150mg tablets 28 £5.57
Mirtazapine 15mg tablets 28 £2.02
Mirtazapine 45mg tablets 28 £1.99
Mometasone 50micrograms/dose nasal spray 140 £4.11
Quinine sulfate 300mg tablets 28 £4.84
