NHS England and NHS Improvement have launched the next phase of the ‘Help Us, Help You’ campaign, which highlights the NHS 111 service as a new, quick and safe way of accessing A&E and emergency departments.
The aim is to direct people to use NHS 111 first when they have an urgent but not life-threatening medical need, rather than going straight to A&E. If the caller requires urgent care, NHS 111 can now book them into suitable A&E and emergency departments.
A TV advert, posters, data and statistics, a campaign toolkit and other campaign resources are available via Public Health England’s online campaign resource centre.
