Greater Manchester provider company CHL (Community PHarmacy Greater Mancester Healthcare Ltd) has announced a strategic partnership with packaged clinical service provider PharmaDoctor, which will provide access to a range of clinical services for all member pharmacies. 

CHL director Aneet Kapoor said: “The new partnership with PharmaDoctor will provide the community pharmacies in Greater Manchester with the opportunity to deliver the widest range of clinical services to help better address the specific health needs of the local population.

"Our objective is to make it as simple as possible for community pharmacies to choose, activate and deliver clinical services most appropriate for their communities to have the greatest health impact."

Under the terms of the partnership, community pharmacies in Greater Manchester will be able to activate service packages through the CHL portal on the PharmaDoctor website, then access a range of resources to deliver clinical services, including the PharmaDoctor eTool, which will collate the service data essential for measuring health outcomes, and fully serviced marketing support. Pharmacies will also be able to assess the potential of each clinical service using the PharmaDoctor Profit Calculator.

PharmaDoctor chief executive officer Graham Thoms said: “Having personally worked with Aneet and the Greater Manchester LPC leadership team in the past to establish the UK’s first NHS commissioned pharmacy flu jab services, we are excited to be supporting community pharmacy to transform pharmacy service provision across the Greater Manchester area.”
